What are the Lesson and Lab Performance?

At the top of each course page there will be a summary of Lesson Set Performance.
Under the summary, there are two buttons: “View Lesson Performance” and “View Lab Performance”.
Toggling between the buttons, the summary will switch between lesson and lab performance respectively.

View Lesson Performance Information

  • Lesson sets are groups of lesson(s) typically separated by week or by topic.
Each lesson has a tracker to keep track of how far the student has worked through the lesson. Lesson sets are completed by working through all the lessons within the set.

For the demonstration, Lesson Set #1 has 7 lessons, the first two lessons are 100% complete, and the fourth lesson is 20% finished, and all of the other lessons are 0%
completed, therefore the Lesson Set is 31% complete.
  • When there are more than five lessons within a lesson set, there will be an arrow to press so that you can see the individual lesson progress for the rest of the lessons.
  • By hovering your mouse over the green bars within each lesson set, the corresponding lesson will appear in which the grade is attributed. In the demonstration below, Levels of Measurement is 20% complete, the fourth lesson in the lesson set.
  • There is a horizontal scrollsideways scrolling bar if there are more Lesson Sets or Labs than can fit within the browser window. By scrolling you will be able to view all the labs or lesson sets within the course.

  • Labs are completed by working through the corresponding assessment.
  • The bottom percentage under the bar graphs represents your grade for the assessment, in this case 100%.
  • By hovering your mouse over one of the dark grey bars within the Lab Performance summary, the class average for that question of the assessment appears, for the first question within Lab #2 the class average was 100%.

  • By hovering your mouse over one of the green bars within the Lab Performance summary, the highest grade obtained for that question within the assessment appears, for question two within Lab #2 the highest score obtained was 100%.
